The complex story of Dracula. Castlevania Season 1 and 2 review.

Castlevania is a show that was released in 2017 on Netflix and is based on the original game series of the same name that was released in 1986. The show is based on a hunter of the Belmont clan who with a magician named Sypha and a half-human- half-vampire named Alucard go on an adventure to defeat Dracula and stop him from killing humans. The show currently has four seasons with a fifth season just recently revealed. The show follows a dark tone while adding comedic elements to lighten the tone.
The best elements of the show came from its animation which was both smooth and beautiful to watch. The design of Dracula gave him both a fresh while still keeping to elements that made him so iconic. Unlike other vampire shows that take a more romantic tone to the vampires this show prefers to take a more dangerous route to the vampire characters with most of them being shown as ruthless and non-sympathetic to humans.
What makes this show so refreshing is that both the humans and the vampires are shown as being bad people and it plays into this theme of morality.
